Time To Get Colorful!
So excited for the holiday weekend.
Coloring eggs is a must in our home each year.
Usually how it works… My eggs don’t turn out as amazing as I envisioned
…and I pout.
So, not to set myself up for failure or anything,
I obvoiously did the best thing possible
… I spend some time on Pinterest.
So many amazing ideas, that I could probably never duplicate.
A few of my favorites.
Considering all we have is some food coloring &
a $1.47 easter egg decorating kit,
I may or may not post pictures of how ours turn out. :)
It’s A Girl!
On March 25th, my second “niece” was born!
My AZ bestie had her first baby, meet Kayden Ann.
I meet Kayden when she was one day old.
So tiny, beautiful and perfect.
I can not wait to have a little one of my own one day!
This is the new baby frame I made for Kayden.
One of my favorites so far.

I also made cupcakes.
Enjoy!
Gold Motel
Another ahhmazing band from Chicago.
I have been in love with Greta since the Hush Sound.
Heartbroken when they broke up, My new obsession became Gold Motel.
Itching to hear the new album!
Never heard of them, Check out the new single below!
On The Move
We are moving… Again.
Cities I have lived in:
Chicago, IL | Elk Grove Village, IL | Aurora, IL | Naperville, IL
Surprise, AZ | Chandler, AZ
Next stop | Gilbert, AZ
I swore once we moved into our fourth apartment in the past four years, that the next time I moved, it would be into a house.
We are moving to save money. That is the only reason. Our goal is to be in our first house for the holidays. :D
No matter where Ryan and I have been, we have always made it a home… but the thought of owning a home, that we can make our own, and start a family in, I can’t put into words.
Not to mention all the HGTV we watch (we may or may not pretend we are on an episode of House Hunters!) and all of the amazing ideas on Pinterest (I’m sure Ryan and I will think we can do it all!)
One word.
Motivating.
Hope everyone is having an amazing week!
March Birchbox – Take Two!
This was the second box I received in March.
Called the “Spring Training” box.
This one might not have been for everyone, but since I live in AZ, and the sun is out full force already, I was excited.
In this box I received 5 samples and a lifestyle extra.
Samples included:
Ahava | Essential Day Moisturizer (for normal to dry skin) Full Size: $38.50
Color Club | Nail Lacquer in Jackie Oh! Full Size: $8
Harvey Prince | Yogini (fragrance) Full Size: $26-$55
Kerastase | Elixir Ultime (to hydrate, smooth, sleekify) Full Size: $54
Supergoop! | Sunscreen Swipe Full Size: $34 for 40
Lifestyle Extra: Kusmi (Detox) Tea
Loving the Jackie Oh! nail lacquer… So perfect for the summer! Also loving the Ahava moisturizer.
Again, the fragrence was good, but nothing I would buy full size, and I have yet to try the sunscreen swipe. But totally bringing them on the next hike Ryan and I do. (Hopefully they work well!)
Super pumped to try the Kerastase- I’ve heard amazing things!
Until next month… Happy sample-ing! :)
PS. Detox Tea… Sign me up!
